    Hardtail conversion???

Has anybody converted their xs's into hardtails? Ive been getting alot of suggestions lately from friends to convert "uppin the ante" into a hardtail, but I have no idea how it would look on these bikes. If anybody has, please post pics.

    Thanks.

    Hard Tail for a HardAss

    Hey Bauer,

Did you see the THOR thread? Unless you've got a different rear wheel and chain drive setup, then you can't put a big enough tire to allow IT to act as a shock obsorber like they do on American Chopper. SO....unless you plan on ONLY driving it straight on a race track, then I'd suggest not going to a hardtail. Not fun having your rear tire bounce around and pass you on a bumpy corner !

haha, no, it aint me anyways, I couldnt do that to an XS, I just was wondering if it has been done. I figured there had to be several things done to the bike before it could even be built.

      Thanks.

Why would anyone take the best designed bike in the world and then trash it??? Beyond me as to why.

            I like that.

I wouldn't ride it but I like it.
