  • Master Cly Reservoir

Can you still get new master cly reservoir clear plastic bowls for the handlebars on a78e standard and a 82 xj? Also will any other model fit Or maybe complete master cly for these bikes. Both are so weather beat that you cannot see the level of the fluid and they look nasty.

    Thanks Tom

The master cyl res on my E was looking crappy too.
I replaced mine with an all metal unit from Parts-n-More. So happy with it I replaced the one on my LG with the same thing.

The banjo bolt attaches to the front instead of the end.

Tom, have a look through this thread . Randy tracked down a small supply of replacement reservoirs a while back, and I bought the remaining unsold stock from him and still have a few units left. Cost for the remaining units remains the same US$39 delivered that Randy offered, and I am also set up to accept PayPal payment. Drop me a PM if you're interested.

        Hey Tom,

Those replacement reservoirs were for Standards, not Specials, so it will work for your XS, but probably not for your XJ! Just wanted to mention that, that info wasn't revealed in that thread until the 5th or so page!

TopCat's right there, Tom, the replacements will not fit onto the reservoir on a Special or an XJ. I could have made that a bit more clear....
