Looking for stock 79 XS11SF seat - Have King/Queen to trade if anyone’s interested or I could just buy outright and list mine on eBay. I also have rear luggage set (rack, 3 samsonite cases and covers) and front Vetter fairing, radio insert with lowers and mounting bracket for sale or possible trade for seat. I didn't know they even had made those. If you mean the standrd, is the pan in good condition?

That looks like it would be a vary comfortable seat, why are you getting rid of it? I’d be interested in buying it but really don’t want to let go of my stock one. If and when you sell it, how much are you going to ask for it?

It is a very comfortable seat, When I bought this bike I rode it back home which was about 350 miles with no problems at all. The reason I'm looking at selling the seat is because I'm striping off the luggage & fairing and it looks kinda funny with the tall seat and no racks. I've thought about holding unto it for trips but at the same time don't know if I'd bother if the stock seat is comfortable.

Anyway I'm learning that finding a stock 79sf seat is quite the challenge.

I had the same seat om my 79Xs1100SF .I took my wife's electric carving knife and carved it down then recovered the seat with new vinyl from walmart.cost me around $5 for the material.It is not as smooth as i would like it to be.I talked to a seat specialist and he told me to get an old electric iron and smooth the dense foam out that way or put a heavy carpet underpad over it then the vinyl.
