Does anyone have a rough guestamate of the temp where the pipes bolt onto the pipes? Quoted $40 Canadian to powder coat my pipes, but they were unsure of how well it would hold up due to temp. They said if it was under 500F I would be laughing. I think I should be okay, and for the price, I am going to do it anyways, but I was just wondering if yall wise riders knew forsure.

Check out this post by Beechfront. Plug header and temperature into the search tool at the top of the page and you'll find a couple more links.

      Cool

Been wanting to get a "remote" temp. reader for awhile, but regular old mechanical gauge I've been using has always worked for what I've needed. Seems like a good enough reason to me to get one now. Just need to come up with an extra few 100 after I get the rest of the parts for the 80LG.
