  • superbike handlebars and master brake cylinder resivoir??

I just put superbike bars on my 80 Special and noticed one thing, the master brake cyclinder resivoir is at a 60 degree(ish) angle. Im afraid of future problems with the resivoir like this.

Is this all right, or is there a way to fix it so it sits level?

    Thanks.

    Bauer,

The Special master cyliner is angled to compensate for the dopped bars that are native to the Specials.

You can swap to a Standard master cylinder if your superbike bars are more level?

.. as long as their is enough fluid in the resevoir you will be fine.

Gnepig is right, should be no problem. Even with the stock pullbacks, if you set the bars and controls to make them comfortable, you wind up with the reservoir at an angle. As long as there's enough fluid there's no sweat.
