    A little shorter time warp!

    Maximan,

What you meant was the Lone Ranger on "Silver", who left behind silver "bullets" as a calling card!!

Hiyo, Silver, away!!! I don't remember seeing Roy Rogers doing a "Horsee"(HorseWheelie) on Trigger,, but I DO remember seeing the Lone Ranger doing one on Silver at the beginning or ending of every episode that I saw......on reruns on Nickelodian....
    yeah, that's the ticket, Nickelodian!!!!
T.C. Not doing well trying NOT to show his upcoming age!
    T. C. Gresham
    81SH "Godzilla" . . .1179cc super-rat.
    79SF "The Teacher" . . .basket case!
    History shows again and again,
How nature points out the folly of men!

        Autrey's horse?

Is everybody too young to remember Gene Autrey's horse's name?

How about Crash Corrigan's? Ahh forget it, no one even remembers Crash Corrigan or Bob Steele or Ken Maynard let alone their horses' names.

Gene Autry's horse was named Chance, right?

Maybe I watch the Western's channel too much.

            Gene's horse?

I thought it was Champion but my memory's foggy.

              you're probably right, Mike.

I vaguely remember at the beginning of his shows...Champ or Chance...

I'm 29, so all I have ever seen are the reruns on Western Channel at like 4 or 5 in the morning.

When I was kid in the 50's my mother took us kids to see Gene Autry in person when he came to Portland once. And his horse was named Champion.
