    Thanks Ray...I marked the sight-glass with a sharpie and check it to be sure the pets are holding. Well, time to go find out that my crappy soldering job has come loose and the #3 float is binding...

      MY carbs overflow EVERY time I drain them. I just give them a light but sharp tap on the side, just the once, and it stops spilling over, and never does it again (until I take them apart)

      I have a spare set of carbs that are in very poor condition. One of the float pin posts has the top snapped off on these also. The previous owner had fixed the pin with a dollop of JB Weld or similar on top of the post. It looked a bit odd but it seemed to be holding up ok.
