  • Low Speed burble

I had the Battle Cruiser out for about 50 miles over the last two days (alas, the rain has closed in). Anyhoo, I noticed that he has a burble (from the left bank, I think) when I do a slow roll on from low RPM. A hard roll on of the throttle doesn't produce the same burble, it's pretty smooth. Above 2500, it's smooth as glass. ANy ideas? I have to catch a plane in the morning to Atlanta (boss won't let me ride down... ) so I won't be able to pull the plugs as planned. I'm thinking this might be a manifestation of unbalanced carbs. Any chance I am right?

Might be... maybe your pick up coil wires are acting up. At a low RPM it tends to wiggle the whole vacuum pick up assy. a bit and two cyls. might be acting up. At a higher rpm at a constant load the assy. is turning relatively smoothly. Or maybe just your carbs need synchronising.

If it doesn't have an engine, it's not a sport, it's only a game.
