What frames are the same as a 79f Standard? Need to get another frame because p. o. did some nasty welding on on this frame and i would not trust it. So to be safe than sorry especially at 100mph. Also want to take down to bare frame for cleaning and polishing for practice to tear down xj.

i know that the 2h7 and 2h9 frames are the same,they are from the e and f models........

An H frame is not the same as those from E's, That is for sure!

79 special and 79 standard have different spacing of sidecover tabs. i have 1 of each...they dont swap. fyi
