    Gaskets

Does anyone know if you can still get the little rubber half moon gaskets in the cam cover? Mine are leaking a little. If so where?

I think Bikebandit sells them also, and they are a hell of a lot cheaper than the ones on ebay. I bought some yearlier this year, but I don't remember the cost.

Bike Bandit have them at $5.41

For some reason they have two part numbers 2G2-11138-00-00 OR 1J7-11138-00-00 but it's the same part.

PartsnMore has them for a couple bucks... but has a minumum of 35 dollar order. All they list them for is the XS.... would it be the same as I need for the XJ? The site doesn't say it crosses to them... so I didn't buy any when I ordered my cam chain.

The half moons are the same for the XJ also, I used to run an XJ engine in my 80SG, and I was using the XS valve cover.

Well.. with all the problems I am having... I don't think it will be tough to get another 35 dollar order together anyway. Plus... I gotta have one of those impact drivers for 10 bucks!
