Case Bolt Dress up covers

Taking the Battle Cruiser down a bit to cure some oil leaks and other minor problems. PO had installed some Hex Cap Covers (chromed) that looked pretty sharp. Problem is they are aging and cracking as I remove them to remove covers. Anyone know a source for these dress up items? I'd like to get new ones so the BC is looking good come April.

i have seen them at local auto parts stores in the speed parts sections. very small kit but they do have them. i want to say Mr. gasket brand? maybe Specter brand ?

I've seen dress up bolt kits on Ebay, Polished Stainless Steel, they are posted all the time, and the guy has them for all makes a models of bikes, about $20.00 a set IIRC!

You can also get stainless steel cap screws that look very nice. My local Home Depot has a good supply of stainless steel metric fasteners. Not the cheapest, but it's available. Several places on line that sell metric as well.

I bought a set of the polished stainless ones off ebay. The kit does basically all the side covers (clutch, stator, advance, etc.). I also got a set of the cheaper plated ones. I ended up replacing almost every one I could. They look awesome against the black

I got a full pre-made bolt set for the entire engine, as well as a full bolt set for the carbs from this place:

The guys there are real knowledgeable, and sell pre-polished stuff.

I got both sets for just over 40 including shipping.
I highly recommend the bolts on the carbs. I find myself taking tham apart often.

Just did the same thing for all 3 bikes. Tired of hiking around locally trying to find what I want and the price was right, less than 1/4 of what they want locally.
