Just wondering if anyone else is having this problem?
I recently went on a long trip and used a pair of hippo hands. I really enjoyed having them for the warmth and a little extra storage space, and well, they just kinda look neat.
Unfortunately, at high speeds, the wind pushes the hippo against the brake lever enough to turn the brake light on. It doesn't feel to me like the brake pad is engaging, but I can't figger a way to mount the hippo without this action. . .
I have the model of hippo hands which uses buttons to slip over the mirrors, not the ones which require the removal of the mirror to install. Maybe those work better? I was thinking that maybe I could change the angle of the lever or something, but nothing really made a diff.
