Hi, has anyone tried fitting the tail peice to the stepped seat from the special? Thanks

What I did was convert a 1980 Special seat to fit a 1979 Special. Part of that DID include putting a tail piece that I made from some sheet metal. Sorry, but it seems I didn't take any photo's of the procedure. I'm sure you could fit the plastic tail with just a little surgery, as you still need to remove the cover and foam so you can install 6mm well nuts in the correct position.Ray Matteis
