Anybody know what the O-Rings are for, within the large engine gasket kit? They're about the same OD as the valve stem seals, but the parts diagram in the Clymer manual does not show them.

I believe they go under the valve guides. I have never replaced the guides so I have never needed to use them.2H7 (79) owned since '89
