Looks pretty good to me. Hey...is that the megga large fuel tank? The rear springs look like they might be the progressive wound type. It will shine up!

That is the larger 6.5 gal standard tank (knee insets are different shaped).
I have one that I still need to do some bodywork on (I hate sanding), then line, then paint.
Then my 5 gal tank gets painted black and goes on my LG for my longer rides (if I ever get to do any).

Looks like it might clean up very nicely. Interesting rack on the back for hanging some saddlebags too.

Poor little waif. I'd pick her up and give her a good home.

            I did it again

one more afternoon, I've grabbed my bike and went for a ride.
and one more time I stopped near her. A very cold and windy day.

It even has fuel inside still!!

I don't know what to do

I even have a letter written to the owner, but I don't make the decision of sending it.

lol, It must be funny to see a man having a fag near a bike, staring at it on a day like today, god knows.

By North of Spain, do you mean France or possibly Catalonia or the Basque regions of Espana? (sorry, don't have the tilde mapped)

Heat, is that a Sport 1.1 with the extra grunty motor? Or is it a 78E? What's the engine number. Get the bike pronto!

Dead ringer of mine, right down to the colour scheme, although you've got the original pipes and by the looks of it a cutdown seat.

It sounds to me like you want the bike. If I were you, I'd go and get er. If you don't, you'll probably regret it.

mmm, only one of the pipes is original, but that can only be noticed after a careful revision ( they look so similar that at first they do look original)

I am very near the Basq Country, in the "county" on its left, but in Spain although. if you want to see some photos of a route I did during summer, here is the link

                              http://debates.motos.coches.net/showthread.php?t=47195

they're at a spanish forum I use to go.

yeah, cooking here is really good, and not only at the basq country, and now that it is being quite cold, even better ( lol I love winter stews!)

well, I think I'm going to jump into the void and send that letter. I know that the owner had in some era some taxes and fines to be paid ( 180 € in fines, and at least one year of tax ). Let's hope he has paid his debts !!

BLUEJEEPLAB , I'm sure during those years you enjoyed it a lot , a lot of fiesta can be found in Madrid

                              xs650mike, qhat is SWMBO ?

I'll go again and see if I can spot the engine nunber, a good ocasion to admire it a little bit more

                              cheers to all
