Clutch Switch - 81 Midnight Special

I'm looking for information on the clutch switch wiring.
Unless I'm blind and an idiot....which I very well may be....I don't see it in any of the wiring diagrams?

It got removed from my bike and I'm trying to either reincorporate it or bypass it.

You are correct. My LH service manual shows the switch, but there is no full wire diagram showing colors.
How to solve your problem is easy, though.
    1. with the switch off the bike, measure the two pins for resistance. If open, it's a normally open switch, if it shows very little resistance, it's a normally closed switch.
    2. with this information you now know if it conducts when the clutch is pulled in. If it does conduct,(normally closed), just jump the two wires at the connector on the harness.
    3. If it does NOT conduct when open,(not likely), you can just leave the connector as is.

You may be able to use the 82XJ wiring diagram, according to it, the 2 wire colors are blu/yel and blk/yel.

Repairing the switch is a good idea to prevent starting the bike in gear and having it lunge forward. However a common fix is to either disconnect it or short it out depending on the circuit. The side-stand switch on many bikes is also another circuit that was also developed to protect people from themselves. They all kill the ignition much like the deck and seat switch on a lawn tractor. The XS11 also has a tip-over switch designed to kill the spark in the event that the bike ends up on it's side.
