    Seals for Hard Bags

The seals on my Venturer hard bags were NG when I bought it, but I have strugggled to find some way to do a good job to fix them. The rubber in the corners pulled away from the mounting flange.

I bought an NOS OEM seal kit on eBay, but it was not suitable at all.

I found a great solution at McMaster-Carr so I thought I would share it:

McMaster-Carr is the complete source for your plant with over 595,000 products. 98% of products ordered ship from stock and deliver same or next day.

I am really pleased it looks as nice as the OEM parts and it seals as well or better than the OEM. We'll see how it lasts.

I bought a 10' strip and it did both bags with 20" left over.

I used black RTV to join the seams.
