I have one that was produced by Monogram back in '82. Was out of production. Nice to see it's available again!

Are these models made now or are these old. I've looked for xs models at a few hobby stores and never found anything. Was, or is a Secial made by anyone? Neat winter project if available.

Some of us would go crazy trying to adjust the carbs, lining the tank, replacing the tach and speedo... It is going to be a looooong winter. It was 18 degrees this morning. I wussed-out and drove the truck!

I have one set-aside for when I get some idle time...... and the kids don't mess with it during construction.
I won it on Ebay a couple of years ago.

These are available now, but, the website is a company in Japan that specializes in exporting Japanese hobbies/toys. I have ordered from them in the past and they are reputable. The instructions are probably in Japanese but I'm sure for most of you guys, you could assemble it with your eyes closed. I notice now that the US version is on backorder. OK, who ordered one?

                    Laxdad,

These are new models. To answer your other question, yes a Special was made by Tamiya back in '90 - '91. It was huge, 1/6th scale and very nice. Had one, cause I had a special then. It retailed then for $85!

@ 18 degrees, I would really call that wussing out. My 15 min morning ride to school in the low 40's is cold enough for me

Low 40s? Ooooh, Tropics. We are looking at 17 tonight with a HIGH of 29 today. I can stand it down to about 28 for my 20 minute ride (with good gear). I'm Jeepin' it now.

Saturday looks promising, low of 31 and 50 as a high with lots of sun. One more day of riding?
