Flooding issues with ZRX CVK floats

So I started on the zrx cvk conversion path a few years ago. Finally getting around to installing them after resetting and a rebuild kit. Set float height initially around 19mm. Fuel would flow out of the carbs. Backed it out to 23 or so and two of the carbs did the same thing and when I took them off to adjust again, two had fuel and two did not. Swapped in the old float needles and then had more fuel overrunning then.

I think I have had them off and on half a dozen times tonight and not making progress. With the carbs off the bike I can blow air manually with my mouth and a hose in the fuel inlet and the floats valves are sealing. I also yanked each float to make sure they would float and not sink.

I'm stuck at why it continues to overrun itself with fuel. I'm debating on picking up another set of float valves.

    Any other thoughts?

If you don't have a vent for the float bowels, you will have fuel leaks. I do NOT know the carbs you are working with, but ALL carbs are built to do the same thing, keep the air/fuel ration about 14 to 1. Look at the carb diagram and see what it uses for the venting of the float chamber. Make SURE that is clear, be it a tube or a small hole in the body.
