  • Carburetor body

I just got a 78 XS1100 as a winter project, and after cleaning the carbs, I found that the number 3 carb had been cracked and poorly repaired were the pilot jet screws in.

Does anyone know were I can get just a single carburator body?

What number (1 2 3 or 4) do you need ? I have some 81's but one of the pilot screw holes is messed up also.

John, It's the no.2 carb. Good shape, but broken float post. I know that the posts are somewhat repairable but it would probably never be quite right so I'm thinking another body in good shape would be the better way to go.

The 80-81's are the same. The 78-79's are the same, but 79-80 are different.

I'll check tomorrow, I can't get to them tonight. I have four bikes in the garage, and no room to turn around.
