    Oh NO!!! (O_O)

Found this in my pre-ride check. Front Right side brakeline had mystery fluid from grommet down to the caliper banjo bolt AND a new "spot" on the concrete. ( •_•)

Wiped the brakeline dry. Smelled like brake fluid. (O_o)

Actuated the front brake lever a few times but it didn't feel abnormal (not mushy or spongy...).

Checked brakeline for new fluid/leak but saw nothing new. (*′☉.̫☉)

Actuated brake lever, secured it with a bungy cord, and walked away for 20 minutes.

THIS is what I found when I returned...

Seems that under pressure the fluid is S L O W L Y leaking from some wheres near the grommet. (-‸ ლ)

FoAr the stats nerds out there-

                    Hey Larry:

This is on my list of "to-do" items for my bikes, and the XS750 is first in line.

Were you able to get the top banjo bolt from the front union joint off without removing the fork and emblem? Any advice?
                    -Mike

Larry, you're gonna notice a big difference in the feel of the front lever now. I think that stock M/C may measure 11/16" (17MM) bore.

                        Yes...Yes I did. (⊙_ʖ⊙)

Had to turn the bars/forks to the LEFT and approach from the wide open tank side. 12mm short or full length wrench wurky just fine but NO room fOaR a ratchet/socket. Even the Mini 1/4 inch drive wouldn't fit due to clearance/space issues with the HeadLamp Umbilical sheathed wire bundle. ┐(´д`)┌

Due to the Headlamp Umbilical, was in that Oh So Familar situation wheres I wrench with one hand whilst fighting the Umbilical with the other and wishing I had a third hand too. ┐(‘~`)┌

But thanks to the Yammy engineers, there WAS just enuf room to get the old bolt/fitting out and the new ones in. ヽ(•‿•)ノ

I'll do a separate post/thread with mOaR pics showing some of the different ways that I (caps intended...) did this operation. (´◡`)

Mebbe that'll help iffin someone else tackles this same or similar situation... (◕‿◕)

Nice job Larry. I had my Motoguzzi breech in the same spot under a rubber clamp while on a trip hundreds of miles away from home with my wife on the back of the bike. Had to ride all the home with one front brake only (linked system rear/one front). Gotta watch out for old rubber lines.

Been on that list a LONG time Mike!

Len made the lines for my XS850 (Same as the XS11). Len used my XS850, XS11 Special, SR500, XJ650 SECA, as a Guinea Pig for all his sets for these bikes......

My FZR100 & FJ1200 have lines from Goodridge, not from Len.
