  • xs850 final drive conversion spacer question.

Hello friends finally getting around to doing the final drive conversion on my 11. I was curious if anyone had a link or a recommendation as to what material to use to make the 17mm driveshaft spacer.
Surely there is various options and I figured I would ask what the best route is before just going to the local hardware store and guessing lol. Thanks for yall's help.

I'd heard that a piece of 3/4" copper pipe works well but then again I've never actually done it myself.

3/4" copper pipe cut to 16mm long will work just fine. I've also used 3/4 bronze bushing from Ace hardware which is a little thicker material. Either one would be fine.

I used a bronze bushing from ace hardware. I think I had to cut off the lip. That was a long time and many brain cells ago!
