      I'm just going to say-don't buy parts from Amazon for these bikes-stick with genuine OEM. to eliminate issues. Have had my 80 SG since 1986 so know a thng oir two about these bikes.
      1980 XS1100 SG

      New wires in old coils-outer spark plugs
      160 mph speedometer mod
      Kerker Exhaust
      xschop K & N air filter setup
      Dynojet Recalibration kit

        Buy OEM replacement float valve assemblies. Yes it sucks to pay $20-25 for each one, but I've found it's the only way to actually get things to work.
