a bunch of little parts to fall out.
Yes, Randy, that's what I was worried about. Not sure I want to mess with those little parts.

I like the concept of "tuner cleaner". Where do you get that? Any brand better than another?

The left blinking is not so slow (did you notice?) that I want to go to the trouble of removing the harness. But I'll try the cleaner.

Last time I bought it, I got it from Radio Shack. if you're going that route, I would still take the clamshell apart and spray it from the inside. It's a messy operation, but it's quick.

        Hey FXrer,

Aside from the contacts INSIDE the sockets, the grounding lines that ground around the stalk on the inside of the fender, or headlight can get corroded also! Take a test lead, and connect it to the ground of the turn signal side in question, and connect to to a known good ground, and test the signals. IF they flash faster, then you know you need to clean the grounds where they are grounding to the frame, like on the underside of the rear fender!?

Thanks for that tip, TC. I will check out the left side grounds, front and back.

And Randy, thank you, too. I'll run over to Radio Shack and get some of that cleaner.
