  • Carb Question

New guy has a question. 1981 SH carburetors. What is this jet on the carburetor air nlet side at the 9:00 o clock position called and what does it do? Should I replace them while doing a rebuild and where can I buy them? PO mangled the screw driver slots but the jet area themselves look OK

Air pilot jet. Controls the amount of air flowing into the pilot circuit. Idle to 4200 rev range. Usually a 180 size. Might be 210 size on the later model.

Wingnut, I figure you will find this link useful. It has pictures of the jets as well as a sizing guide.
