  • Facebook Vs. Web Forum

I'm on all three Facebook forums (Mac), plus this one. But, it's been a few years of this & that to stay active on here.

Who on here is NOT on the FB forums?

It's great seeing all the old head names on here, then trying to figure out who they are on Facebook, as real names, lol.

I'll try to be more active on here, as I'm doing more tinkering on the bike before I get busy with the year.

I have purchased from FB marketplace but that's it. I really don't know all the ins and outs on social media so I try to stay safe as possible.

As the Amish say "The book of the face is the devils place!"

Don't know if they actually say that but it sounds like they might.

I have never posted or participated in any of the facebook motorcycle forums or rooms or pages... whatever they are called. And don't have tic toc, twitter, instagram and others that I hear my kids and grandkids talk about.

You really have to watch what you do on Facebook. It is true that they do use your information for whatever purpose they want. I am on there to keep up with old friends and family. I also sometimes participate in the xs11 groups. Found these on a recent post and several have stated they have purchased and are happy with them. Delkevic US Full Exhaust Systems | Yamaha | 1980

I have a FB account. I belong to the XS11 groups there. I am not very active. I generally will not respond to questions about the bike on FB. The info isn't saved. Why go over it again and again and again. The information is already here.

Is there anyone near North Mississippi who might like to ride with me? FB might be useful for that, but so far, it hasn't been. It's a time waster.
