  • Judas Priest Music Video Bike

I picked this up off of eBay a few years back. It's the actual XS11 and sidecar from 2 Judas Priest videos from the mid eighties "Turbo Lover" and "Locked In". MTV gave the bike away in a contest and the kid (who is now old like me) won the bike but never did anything with it because he was into music but not motorcycles. He put it up on Ebay and I bought it. He stated it didn't run but I am used to that when I buy a bike. When the bike got delivered here from U-SHIP I discovered the MTV inc. had removed the crankshaft, connecting rods, and pistons to prevent it from being driven on the street because it is obviously not legal to drive on the road (MAD MAX style like the theme of the videos). Well, a few wrenches later and it now runs. Pretty cool unique bike. One of the jewels in my collection. The only parts that are not original are the tires. I have the originals just in case. Pretty cool.

Wow, what a great find. I’d keep it as original as possible to what it was as a prop.

It reminds me of the XS11 in the movie "The Road Warrior". I wonder if that bike is still around somewhere in Australia.

Agreed. The old videos are terrible. However, I like the Mad Max type bikes. Post Apocalyptic.
