  • Unuusual carb question

Just curious-The emulsion tubes. Do they all have the same amount of holes? Just wondering as I'm cleaning them one carb at a time and I do know some people that strip everything on the carbs and then put them where they fit in.I know you cant do that with the float bowls.

On your bike with the late type carbs, they should all have the same size holes. Keep the parts separated for each carb if possible.

The 79 Special (early type carbs) was the only model with the 2 different amount of holes.

Yes I keep the parts in plastic cups and write the carb # on the cups with a sharpie. Thanks Phil.

I looked at things under a magnifying glass and I see holes I didn't see before. Going to sit for a day in the carb cleaner(except the rubber).

They make mini brushes to clean those out.
