Winter storage has finally taken its toll on the older battery (on a trickle all winter) Looking to replace the battery on the '79 XS 11. lots of older posts on this on this topic.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what they currently have?

AutoZone gold battery. Had it maybe 3 years. Just make sure you look at the terminals as AutoZone has different applications and terminals should be the way they are on your bike.

The number one rated battery, since there is actually only five wet cell battery manufacturers in the world. Those five also make wet cell batteries for other retailers. Interstate batteries(number one rated) is all I use in my vehicles and motorcycles. With no re-charging, I get 8-11 yrs of use out of Interstate batteries in my vehicles and motorcycles.
