I say either 79SF or 80G. The SF seat usually has a fuel line routing sticker on the pan, so maybe 80G?

Thanks bikerphil. I bought it to fit a 1979 xs1100F standard but it is too short and sits on the ignition box at the back.

Yep, the 79F seat will have a straight edge bottom on the sides to match the side covers. If the seat is too short, it must be for a 79SF.

I do have a a"spare" Standard seat if you need one. PM me if so. I had to modify an SG seat to fit a SF! I have two F seats, so one is a spare.

It's not an SF seat. The SF has a diamond stitching pattern.

I was thinking it was a G seat. It has the same pattern as my SG, but it is not as "pointed" near the tank.

Twinzer, underside rear of seat has two other locating holes for the rubber bumper stiops. Changing bumper locations will allow seat to fit a Standard or Special.

Twinzer, here are three pics of my "spare" seat. It's missing the rear cowl, side bits, and handle. I may have one or two extra parts, but I'm not sure at this time. Let me know if you like it, and we can work something out. As I said, it's a spare, and I AM trying to slowly pare down the spare parts.

Oh man. Thanks Ray. I just saw this. I ended up customizing the seat I got to extend over the ignition box.
