    Brake Confiiguration issues.

I am still unable to mount either wheel to my bike without some critical bits. Andreas has shipped the collars and such for the axles, along with the Speedo Drive for my SG. Should be arriving any day now. I have confirmed I do have the correct Speedo Cable and have cleaned/inspected and put fresh grease in it.

I have a question about the Rear Brake Caliper mount, the cast piece. All I have been able to source, have "2H7" cast on the backside. I have both versions of the stamped steel brace and the Standard version seems to align better. Is there a different cast unit for the Special vs the Standard? There are several units listed on FleaBay, and again all of them have the 2H7 cast on the back.

Up front I can not find the sleeves for my SG calipers, I had them but misplaced them. Does anyone have a set to sell ($$$), or can someone get me the actual dimensions so I can turn a new set on my lathe

The cast rear caliper mount is the same for Special and Standard, though the torsion plates are different, due to the different widths of the rear rims, the Special 16" is wider.
I can measure a Special front caliper bolt collar for you if you can't find someone with extras.

I keep my XS at a friends shop, I do not remember but I may have the 17" rear wheel. So I guess I will still have a Franken Bike. Oh Crap, I just realized that I may have screwed up, I just bought the Special rear wheel hardware from Andreas.

I will keep your offer in mind for the measurements of the front collars.

      Thanx, Wolf

I do have a "spare" 16" rear wheel if you want to go that way. The slightly taller 17" does drop the RPM a bit, though.

No problem, had my caliper off the bike so I took the measurements.
