Making the Special my own

Good morning, New here. I own the 1980 Special that my Mother bought new left over in 1982. I got it back from the second owner who took amazing care of it this summer. I have been carefully making it mine this winter by adding a Vetter fairing and polishing parts and fixing small items. The fairing is currently out being painted to match the bike color. I am also mounting new tires as the current ones were several years old.

Welcome, GREAT FIND/Acquisition! Nice job on the fork sliders, look like CHROME! AND OEM Pristine exhausts....take good care of them, they are No longer available, nor aftermarket systems without $$$$.
