Since the replacement tee is more money than I care to spend...the repair of OEM. With a utility knife cut the old molded in rings out and replace with 009/p6, 5.8 ID / 9.6 OD / 1.9 Section.

This is so timely, I just replaced both carburetor fuel tee's following the same forum maintenance tip. The tip worked just as posted. I used a regular box cutter utility knife and a pointed pick to cut and pry off the rubber coating. I then used 400 grit sand paper to smooth the surfaces. I added 3 o-rings to both side; six per tee. No leaks, low cost. I coated the o-rings with lubricating jelly (bought from the sex aisle at Walmart) and they slipped right end. I'm sure I'll get plenty of comments from the forum fans on my use of LJ but it's water soluble and very slick. I also use it on tires and rims when mounting tires and on carburetors sliding into the intake manifold boots. Let the comments begin; at 66 years of age, I've heard it all. Happy New Year , stay safe.
