    Hey all...

Though I'd share some cool stuff with you. So as this 40+ younger biker with a HUGE grin on my face was heading out of the showroom to pick up his brand new 80G, I scored a couple of brochures - just paid about $4300 CDN, so of all people, I deserved them. Not properly proof read, it describes the color as blue with slotted discs (euro model?) A little dog-eared with pin-holes where they were displayed on walls, still fun to look at. It anyone has anything similar, please share! (apologies for the picture quality) Click image for larger version

That is for the later, 1980, standard. The very first one advertised an XS1000, and they didn't tell anyone it was going to be 1100 until it showed up! I know this first hand, as I ordered the XS1000 June of '77, and put together my XS1100 in September at my local Yamaha shop!

    XS1100 E '78 (winter project)
XS1100 SF Bob Jones worked on it!
