Kind of hankerin' to put a large engine guard on my "new to me" 1980 XS Eleven Special and ran across this '78 LG: https://www.smartcycleguide.com/L48926283 Anybody familiar with this bike or a similar guard that goes over the exhaust headers?

Try looking at a bike wrecker or on ebay. Most of the "old" universal crash bars will fit, but you may have to modify a mount or two.
Oh, and that bike in the ad is NOT an LG! it's a '78E with touring parts off a later XS.Ray Matteis

Thanks, Ray. Wonder why it was listed as LG. Funny. Good looking bike, though. Love that big engine guard.Cruiser Eddy

Hey, later next year you should ride up this way! I'm about 7 miles from Firebird Drag Strip in Eagle, ID! If not, I may ride down that way, as I have family "over the hill" in Auburn, CA.Ray Matteis
