    Fork Bleeder valve thread pitch/size.

So a late night and a fork rebuild later I have accidentally tossed my fork caps. I ordered new oem caps, but the part doesn't include the valves. With a lack of caps on hand to check, does anyone know the bleeder valve size to order and has anyone had aftermarket ones?

My guess is m5x0.8 but I could be wrong.

Are you working on a Standard or a Special, the valves are different between the two.

I just checked the pitch of one of the valves on my 79 Special and the part that threads into the cap is 1.0 pitch. All years on the Special should be the same, it is the Standard that has the finer threads on the 80-81. I have a metric thread gauge which is handy...
