    Motor seized after clutch install?

So I had my bike running and I noticed the clutch didnt work, so I suspected the plates to be fused together. I replaced the plates and clutch springs. Now I'm trying to crank the engine with a crescent wrench on the square nit on the timing plate but it wont budge. I have no idea what could cause this. There is a light click noise coming from the gearbox when I try to crank it. I was cranking it the instant before the clutch install.
