  • Progress on the Michigan E

    Been a long delayed process

Project is finally coming together. Bike hasn't given it up easy.
Frozen pistons needed some help. All that MMO and Yama oil sure smoked and smoked when i started it.
It started very easily with just a couple cranks. Not bad after what PO told me would now be 15 years of sitting.
Most of the gremlins are gone. Only 9,700 miles so it is a low miles E that just needed some major TLC after sitting so many years.
Its sure is fun to work on an unmolested bike.

Plus testing the IMG load here on the upgraded .club platform. So far, so good works like it did on .com

A couple of you XSives might recognize some parts like the Rack and the Rear Signal bar. THANKS

Still more to wrap up before putting on the road but it is getting close now. Still have more of the grit, salt and iron from the northern MI dirt roads to get gone.
FWIW, the upper pictures are the BEFORE not the AFTER (those are at the bottom)

Yeah, those top pictures look like something from Michigan,.. but they need more rust.

Nice work Jeff, especially the tank.
