79 SF front calipers

I'm getting a 79 SF back on the road and the calipers are really nasty. I went to eBay and bought these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=4581921794

It lists them as for an 85 1100. The lower fork tubes match my 79. It looks like same mount up as my bike. Will they work on my bike or did I buy the wrong calipers?

I think they may be an '80, not an '85!!
The rotors and wheel look to be an early style, so they should fit. I don't think this guy knows Yamahas, so I would insist on a return with full money back if the parts are not as listed.
If they ARE from an 1100 S, they will fit.

Thanks. I looked through the parts diagram on www.bikebandit.com and the '85 doesn't have this style caliper. The '85 has conventional caliper with dual horizontal bolts while mine has the single verticle bolt that goes up into the mount on the fork tube.

I feel better.
