79 xs11 special fairing

[IMG][img]hplm0191[img][/IMG] First attempt at adding a picture so here goes. I have a Yamaha fairing that I just took off a 79 xs11 special if anyone needs some parts contact me. The fairing housing is cracked on the right side and there is scratches on the right side. The windshield is in pretty good shape with minor scratches. First come first serve for what it will cost to ship. I will ship when time permits. DEW

Let's see what happens for a couple days to see if anyone wants the entire fairing and if not, there yours! Oh, by the way there will be a small charge for the parts........ you need to show me how to post a picture!

You need some webspace to put the picture in, then you use the [IMG] tag to link to it in the post. Mosttimes you will get free space with your ISP. Others are having luck at www.photodump.com too.

I have AOL. Do I have it available thru them?

Yeah, in the AOL program, go to keyword "My FTP space", (without the quotes, of course )

Opps, should have said that once you get the files uploaded you link to them using "members.aol.com/yourusername/imagename.jpg" or whatever depending on what folder you put the images in and what type they are.

It would cost a lot of money to ship it that far. I would guess $75 to $100 and don't know if it is worth that much. Send me your email address and I will send you some pictures. It would come complete with the wiring harness pig tail (plugs into side of fairing), all mounting brackets and both doors work and have extra keys.

If you're going to part it out, how much would you charge me for the windshield? I've been putting off making one because of so many other things going on right now. You mentioned it was a little scratched ... where at and how badly? If you're interested in parting the windshield, please let me know.

What do you want for it? I have a 79 XS11 and I'm close (Ely, by Cedar Rapids). I'll take the whole thing for the right price.
