When the page loads, look on the left and click on the link that say 7/8 bar style 1"up 1 3/8 back. Those are the ones I use.

        foam grips

Foam grips came on my bike and I have found them somewhat comfortable . The chrome ring disapearred from one and some friends "sugggested" I get new ones . I picked up some rather sticky gel types quite small in diameter . Compared to them the foams are bigger . I'll have to try them out I guess . Film at 11 ( XS11 that is)

          Dog-bones

          Doo-daa sez:-

TopCat, I'm assuming that what you're calling pullbacks, I'd call risers????? If so, then I'm a bit confused. On the "E", the lower half of the riser is cast into the upper triple tree, so I don't understand how they would mount.

          Hi Doo-daa,
"Pullbacks" is a handlebar shape. AKA "buckhorns" to the polite or "rototillers" to those as despises 'em.
"risers" are after-market extension pieces that lift a 'bar up and back from it's stock position. What will work on your 'tree are called "dog-bone risers" because of their shape. There's a short straight length of handlebar tube held in the original 'bar clamp with the bottom ends of the dog-bones clamped to it. The 'bar goes in the dog-bones upper clamps. The 'bones tend to be between 2" & 4" long and will swivel to move the 'bar back or forward as well as lifting it.
