Part Numbers

I am still looking for a wiring harness, and found one with a part number 4r0-82590-50-00, while the one for my SG is 3j6-82590-50-00. (Actually this part number is for the LG, but I am guessing that is the same)

Are these the same part? The pre-fix is just for the model, right, so this would be an SH?

I wanna find out before I drop the bankage.

I've been in more than one Hemisphere, and I wrote a book to help you do it too (or just prepare better for that week long road trip). Going Small, not just for the little guys.

I would bet that for the most part, they would be the same. The 4R0 is made for the 81, the 3J6 is for the 80, and the only difference might be some of the connectors may be a little different, there may be an extra wire or two for some accessory that isn't on the 80 special. I recently helped btdtdan install a 160 speedo on his SH, and the connector for the harness was different from what was on the speedo, but I would try it...
