  • T's for carbs

Somebody tell me where the best place would be to
get the two T's that hook together the #1 and #2 carburetors,
and #3 and #4 carburetors. The "float chamber" T's; not the
    vent T's.

Thanks, for the quick and informative response. Last time, that
I think I may have seen that information on here; maybe a year ago, > I think the price(s) were around $26.00 each. I'm guessing
there's not much way to "doctor" the old ones up, once one "stubbornly" wants to keep leaking. I got one moved at an
"angle" that did, finally get it to stop leaking; but the one
on the right side, I ain't havin' that luck with.

Full time camper-outer, here; on just this XS11. Year and 5 months, now. I ain't givin' up, if this fine XS won't give up. I'm
tweakin' and fixin', on average, about an hour a day. I'm just
glad I luv doin' it. (Just as long as it doesn't expire). I bet I'm
carryin', at least 50 pounds of tools.

      Thanks, again.

Couldn`t you check at a auto parts place to see if they might have something that would work. You might have to seal the Ts so that they will not move. Might cure the leak but might cause other headaches as well. I haven`t ever had them a part. Is there O rings that can go bad and cause this or I guess just wear out? Good luck.

          Hey Bill,

The entire "T" is coated with a thick layer of rubber, ribbed, but the rubber can break down, dry rot, etc.. I would think you could take the old one, cut away the broken rubber, and get some Neoprene O-rings from a Hardware store and try putting them on the "T", perhaps putting several on each end.

I wouldn't recommend trying to permanently affix them to the carbs!? Vibration, and the need to separate them in the future, etc.! T.C.
