  • XS 1100 Help in Columbia...

    Hi,

I just bought a beautiful '78 XS 1100, for a steal of a deal. It needs a little bit of work and a tune up, as it has been sitting for a little over a year.

My question, as mechanically inclined as I may be, I've never worked on a motorcycle engine before and was wondering if any one was in or around the Columbia, South Carolina area who would be willing to give me a hand in these endeavors.

I will gladly supply food and beer for anyone who wants to help out!!!

    Thanks,
    ~ Street Rat ~

Get a Clymers or Hanes manual and the engine is a piece of cake. I have a Clymers and it was a lifesaver when I had to take the top and bottom off.
