    King and Queen Seat

Just wondering if anyone had a good king and Queen seat they wanted to sell or possibly trade for? I have a few extra parts that I might be willing to part with. Anyways if you have a nice one or one with a really good pan that can be re-covered, let me know. By the way, do they make covers for the king queen seat?

I've seen them listed in the Chaparral-racing street catalog.
You can order one of there catalogs online. www.chapperral-racing.com. If you want give me your year and model and I'll look in my book and give you a part number so you can check. My brother has a 81 xs special with the king queen seat with what I call the bannana seat on the back and they listed one for it. I know there may be other company's out there. Maybe someone on the board knows of some place's.

    Hope I was helpfull

I've got one that I was going to list on E-Bay that is made for a special but I adapted for a standard. My wife wanted a flatter seat so I picked up another seat on e-bay.

It's in great shape, PM me your e-mail and I'll send you some photos. I'd rather sell it here than on e-bay because I bought it here.

I may have a Mustang King/Queen seat for sale pretty soon. I bought it so SWMBO would be confy but she's still not satisfied. So, I may be putting the old seat back on. Good for me but not the passenger. But I don't care anymore. If she ( or anyone ) wants to ride on the back, They'll just have to deal with it.

I have a double bucket touring seat I've been meaning to put on eBay. I'd be happy to give a club memeber first shot at it.

                Hi
Sorry, I guess I didn't specify what I meant by King and Queen seat. What I am talking about is the oldschool looking seat where the back goes way up and follows the tall sissy bar.

Are these seats rare? Does anyone have one? Also, were these seat sold as a factory upgrade or something? Because I have one with a broken pan and it has a sticker just like the stock seat.

If you have one with the pan, just have it welded, and refoam and cover the seat.

                        Recover

Hey Jacker, there is a place in Garland that does a really nice job recovering seats. He's currently reproducing a cover with the original design for my '81 MNS for $120. He did one for my XJ a few years ago and it still looks new. Let me know if you need the name or directions.

The seat I have is the low bucket type. It will also increase your butt to ground height by about 1/2 inch.

                            Hey Jacker,

Check out AKMAC, he just posted about his new bike and it has that big K & Q seat, and he wants to get rid of it, it will need recovering, but the pan should be intact!!
