check out this little job for a kaw. I would love to have something small like this, but all of small ones like this are for those girly bikes with the round headlights!!! Ha ha.

      Not Bad

I wish he would have taken a pic of the back to see what you had to work with though.

And, yes, it does say Tracy on the little fairing I have. I don't think you could mount much on the inside, It fits up pretty close to the bike.

so this guy sent me a picture of the back of that Kaw fairing. It is only at 9.99 now. I wonder how much work would be involved in "clearancing" the front a bit with a sawzall to accomodate the square headlight? Could do a little creative bondo treatment? Any paint and body guys have experience with this. I think that this fairing would be perfect for the size that I want. I can email pics of the back if anyone is interested.

You could probably do it with less risk of chipping usinga cutting wheel on a dremel. Draw your outline with a marker and use the cutting wheel to etch it. Make 4-5 passes and you would be through. Then just pick up some black rubber edging, glue it on and you would never see any small mistakes.
If you get it for under $30 it would probably be worth the risk.

yea that little sport fairing was at 70 dollars with 30 min left. too rich for my blood for an experiment. Looks like I will just stay naked and freeze this winter. I really need to just save dollars and find a full fairing ride with bags etc. I like XJ when they are dressed out. Need to just save up and buy a nice one then have one for winter/long rides and just keep the xs that i have now naked for summer/round town. Seems like there are many people on the list that subscribe to that notion already.
