    Looking For dipstick

I bought a used '80 XS1100SG and the previous owner did not have the fluid level gauge. I was wondering if anyone could send me the dimensions of one so I could make my own or if they knew where I could obtain another.

You can also order a new one from Yamaha, or at least you could as of about a year ago.

You can order one from www.Bikebandit.com

DiverRay's right you can still order the dipstick from your local Yamaha dealer. Last week I went into one of the dealers in my area and I was told that they could order the part and it would be available for pickup in about a week, but I opted to just add it to the other things that I wanted from bikebandit.com

          P/N 22811-001 GAUGE,OIL LEVEL $3.73
It is listed under the OEM Parts/Side Cover.
