special & standard difference??

Hi need to know measurement between rear footpeg and top shock absober bolt on a standard ,bought some crash bars (rear) for my special but don't fit,no biggie took a chance,just want to see if the standard is different??

so hole centres measurement please ,would like to know this measurement for

all models just for future reference tinkering and buying etc

Mine looks to be about 14 1/8 inches. My shocks are old and worn out though. That is 35.9 cm? Actually now that I think about it, shocks would not affect this measurement huh?

Undecided yet still cryi'n!! they cost me dear as they are Nos

i had them sent to uk from usa so post was dear too

i am after a project standard so may keep for that

I just wanted to be sure they were for xs and i hadnt been robbed

i may try to get them to go on somehow as i got some hard bags with no frame work


I have searched for 2 years for them so i dont think i could let em go ,maybe part ex for hard bag racks!!!cash on top from me??

or set of nos special badges or something i need will make me sell

yea, just noticed your location. Sorry no real parts to offer up. Don't really need them anyway. No way to shorten them? Bend them a bit?
