MNS Exhaust - welding?

I'm planning on welding the crack... I think I can do the whole thing w/o having to dismantle the exhaust either. Hopefullly that'll last me a few more summers on the old lady.

Once both pipes are sealed I plan on balancing the carbs again. Any idea what kind of impact these kinds of openings might have - or are they negligible?

i had mine fixed up at a welding shop. first time he welded it it lasted about 500 miles. so i took it back and he said he would "try something different" and that time it lasted me about 8,000 miles.

this last time i tried welding it myself and i got about 2,000 out of it.


good luck to you, those pipes are hard to fix.
