i have 2 cyl running rich first i sprayed wd40 on boots idle a little different . but it looks to me that the wd40 is bubbling does this mean bad boots or just hot thanks all joe

If the WD40 looks like it is bubbling, that means it is probably soaking in a little bit into the cracks in the rubber. The engine vibrations then cause those cracks to open and close very slightly, just enough to draw the WD in then force it out. If the engine speed did not pick noticeably, the cracks are not all the way through so you're okay. In fact, if the cracks went through, the WD would just be sucked right through, it would not 'bubble' back out or stay on the outside.Ken Talbot
